Hydrology for Environment, Life and Policy (HELP Davao Network)
a joint initiative of the United Nations Educational and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) established in 1999. HELP aims to create a new approach to integrated watershed management through the creation of a framework for water law and policy experts, water resource managers and water scientists to work together on water-related issues.
Watershed Management Coordinating Council (WMCC)
a management council which aims in the protection of river basins. The multi-sectoral concern involving interdisciplinary solutions coming from the village, city and national levels. Open channels for constructive dialogue and the involvement of all stakeholders (business groups, small farmers, civil society and faith based institutions) need to be maintained to facilitate sound, efficient and equitable decision making in the protection, assessment, allocation and regulation of water resources, in terms of both quantity and quality. Continuing study sessions on the issues revolving around the river basin need to be conduced in order to sustain the dialogue.
Trees for Children Foundation
is a stewardship project of the True Nature Society, a non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to inspiring and innovating sustainable living and ecological stewardship practices in a variety of hands-on educational forums.
Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (PhilDHRRA)
is a network of seventy-two (72) non-government organizations (as of present) involved in various development activities in rural communities all over the country.
